Rationale and Objectives of the Conference

Present times call for businesses and institutions to continually reassess and find competitive advantages as they try to reinvent themselves for sustainable and balanced economic development and growth in the face of a dynamic environment. Climate change, downturns or signs of recovery and robust growth in developed and emerging economies, changing trends in business models and disruptive innovation continue to affect nations, and these necessitate the need for cutting-edge information among global stakeholders. This conference provides a unique opportunity for a diverse mix of academicians and scholars with fresh multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural perspectives to exchange updated information and insights relative to a constantly evolving global economy. Moreover, the conference seeks to encourage networking and collaboration among participants to further advance the theory and practice of global business and trade amidst convergence and divergence.

In this context, the organizers of the EATA-NABEA-KITRI Virtual Conference invite theoretical, empirical and qualitative papers, including case studies and working papers that complement and address a wide variety of topics that cover critical policy issues, public and private enterprise practices, corporate and bottom-of-the-pyramid initiatives from any aspect of global business and trade.

Paper Submissions

Full papers for the conference may be submitted to the regional co-chairs by September 14, 2020 who, in turn, must initially review these and send qualified papers to the East Asian Trade Association through the conference chair for a double-blind review. Prospective conference presenters will be informed whether their papers are accepted or not by October 20, 2020.

Any further questions about the conference can be directed to any of the conference coordinators or the conference chair.
